Because the word “consciousness” can be used in so many different ways, confusion often arises around statements about its nature. The way I use the word is not in reference to a particular state of consciousness, or particular way of thinking, but to the faculty of consciousness itself-the capacity for inner experience, whatever the nature or degree of the experience.

A useful analogy is the image from a video projector. The projector shines light onto a screen, modifying the light so as to produce any one of an infinity of images. These images are like the perceptions, sensations, dreams, memories, thoughts, and feelings that we experience-what I call the “contents of consciousness.”

Have you ever really desired something, but you were unsure as to how to get it?  More often than not, I receive questions from students as to “HOW” they should go about manifesting their desires.  Many say they want to learn HOW to manifest more money, deep passions, more business clients, relationships, financial freedom, adventurism and romanticism, better health, great sex, their life’s purpose & so on…, but just how do you get from point A to point B?

The short-cut to discovering the “Path of HOW” is to first look at why you’re asking yourself those questions in the first place. The truth is, this question originates from within an individual and is at the core of what he or she legitimately wants and is supposed to experience in his or her lifetime. “HOW” questions represent the root of a person’s passions.

Pioneering science and the wisdom teachings of many traditions agree – consciousness expresses itself as energy. All energies are manifested as waves – and it is from the vast and ever changing interaction of these waves of energy that the entire Cosmos, at all levels of experience is continuously created.

When a surfer rides an ocean wave, he or she does so by balancing on a surfboard, which is smoothed and polished to minimize friction and thus enable the surfer to flow freely as the wave rises, crests and falls away.

The surfer doesn’t seek to control the wave but to be in harmony with it. Focused  and present, he or she is alert and balanced – flexible and responsive to the nuances of every moment.

There are four universal elements involved in magic or manifestation. The universe is made up of four universal elements which are wind, water, earth and fire. They are also the elements of creation. Therefore in your work of reality creation, these four elements must be used for your manifestation to be complete. The reason for any failure of manifestation is only because of misalignment in any of these elements. Four is the number of creation. The more you know about the universe, the better you can create.
