The Nine Powers of Dreaming

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

Have you ever said, “it’s only a dream”? While we often dismiss dreams, or fail to make room for them in the hurry of our daily lives, dreams can be a fabulous source of guidance, healing and juice for any day. Dreams offer us nine tremendous gifts.

1. We solve problems in our sleep
Jeff Taylor woke in the middle of the night from a dream in which he created an electronic bulletin board that was lit up with eager job-hunters logging in from all over the map. He scrawled the phrase “Monster board” on a pad in the dark, then rushed to an all-night coffee shop and roughed out the plan for what became the stunningly successful internet job agency, Monster.com

Visionary Business – The Three Essentials of Success

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

Over the years I have had a lot of feedback on this book. Most of it has been very good; many of the stories about what people have done after reading this book are what I call miracle stories.

One woman woke her husband up at 3:00 in the morning after she finished Visionary Business and told him, “I’m going to double our sales in three months.” She was working on her dream, her own retail shop, selling the things she loved, but it had been a struggle every step of the way. She knew if she doubled her sales, she would be cruising along profitably and would be able to do substantial profit sharing with all her employees. Within three months, she had doubled her sales.

Resilient models of thinking may not have prevented today’s economic disasters, but I can’t help but wonder if the Big Three automakers would  be solvent today if they had implemented  new models of thinking.

- Do you know what you do when you have to think something through?

Try this exercise:
Take a few minutes  to write what you are thinking. When you are done, take a look at what you have written. Keep the following questions in mind:

- Is your thinking organized? Methodical?
- Do you use a charting or mapping process to keep track of the flow of your ideas?
- How do you know where one stage or type of thinking ends and another one begins?

The Soulmate Secret – Interview with Arielle Ford

1. What is the Law of Attraction? Why does a person who is looking for their soulmate need to understand how this law works as they go about searching for that one special person?

The Law of Attraction is a universal principle which states that we draw to us people, events and circumstances in the outer world that match our inner state of being.  It’s important to understand this law because if we approach the process of finding a soulmate with a feeling of resignation or desperation, we unwittingly send out a signal that repels the very thing we are seeking.  The Soulmate Secret provides a proven formula to ready ourselves on all levels – physically, emotionally, and spiritually – to attract the man or woman of our dreams.
