How to Throw Your Dreams Away

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009

This title should give you pause.  Should it not be something like “How to Make Your Dreams Come True”? or “See Your Dreams Fulfilled”?  But then, how often do you see such titles?  And does such thinking really ‘work’?

Some might disagree, those who are always reading self-help books yet never seem to help themselves. Meanwhile, it is the above that occurs most often, the aspiring individual who just gives up.

As a child I wanted to be many things; I wanted to be a minister, novelist, as well as a CEO of my own book company, an actor, musician, baseball pitcher, I wanted to draw and paint, and more than anything, I wanted to be a writer.  I had so many dreams I couldn’t keep track of them.

How to Accelerate Your Success with a Mastermind Group

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

We all know that two heads are better than one when it comes to solving a problem or creating a result. So imagine having a permanent group of five or six people who meet every week for the purpose of problem solving, brainstorming, networking, and encouraging and motivating each other!

This process is called masterminding and is one of the most effective success tools you can adopt! It is a powerful way to support your dreams and bring unlimited resources to your business and personal life.

Participating in a mastermind group has been critical to me. I can’t imagine achieving all I have without one, and it certainly made my goals happen much faster.

Life Before Kids and After Kids

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Standing at a kids birthday party one Saturday, I overheard a mother use the words before kids . . . to start a sentence. “Before kids,” she went on to say, “it seemed like we had a lot of money!” The other parents chimed in, nodding their heads. “Before kids” . . . another mother said, “I used to run triathlons.”

Rediscover Who You Are
Before kids . . . we traveled the world. And not just travel, but adventure travel! Our trips often led us to exciting and unpredictable destinations, and experiences that changes our lives. We worked in orphanages in Romania, holding tiny babies that had been abandoned by their mothers. We made friends with gypsies on the street, flew back one year to be at the bedside of a dying friend we’d met there who my husband grew to love like a father.

Everyone Can Discover Their Intuitive Gifts

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

Would you like to use your intuition to make better decisions for yourself, your family and the world?  If so here are some tips on dealing with the challenges living an intuitive life brings.  Inner guidance can be extremely helpful, so it’s worth learning how to overcome the challenges of intuitive living.

The Recognition Challenge:
Do you ever have a gut feeling that you do not listen to, only to regret it later? If so, it may be that you are not recognizing your intuitive guidance when it is speaking to you. Guidance will come to you in physical feelings, such as a feeling in the pit of your stomach. Guidance comes in day dreams, dreams while asleep, and words you read in books and on billboards that all of a sudden jump out as if to say, “Hello, I am talking to YOU.” Be on the alert for messages.
