Believe You Can Be Successful
You have to believe you can be successful before you will ever succeed. Sounds like a cliché, doesn’t it? But take time to stop and think about it. Where else can you begin? Your beliefs create your life experience — it’s not the other way around. And no matter what you believed before, you can change your beliefs and change your life. It’s impossible to create success without believing — deeply — that you are capable of being successful.

Ideas Are The Easy Part – What Do You Need For Innovation?

Ideas, including good ones, come naturally to human beings. As Robert Tucker said: “Anyone who has ever taken a shower has had a good idea.” But good ideas are only the starting point for innovation.

No less an authority than Joseph Schumpeter put it this way: “to carry any improvement into effect is a task entirely different from the inventing of it, and a task, moreover, requiring entirely different kinds of aptitudes.” In other words, it takes work to turn good ideas into something helpful and profitable.

Get Ideas from Everywhere
Human beings naturally have good ideas. They’ll share them with you if you let them. But if you shoot down or ridicule every new idea you hear, people will stop sharing ideas with you.

Are our Beliefs the Architects of Life?

Through our beliefs, we’re the bridge between reality and all that we could ever imagine. It’s the power of what we truly believe about ourselves that gives life to our highest aspirations and greatest dreams, the things that make the universe as it is. And if the whole universe sounds like a place too big to even think about, that’s okay – we can start by simply thinking about ourselves and our everyday world.

Consider your relationship to the room you’re sitting in. While you’re thinking, ask yourself these questions: What role did I play to get myself here? How did I arrive at this precise place in this precise moment? Then consider how time, space, energy, and matter have all converged in a mysterious and precious way to bring you to this very moment, and ask:
