30 Power Words To Activate Intention Setting

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Setting new year resolutions appears to be passe amongst spiritually-aware personal development experts. More people are recommending using intentions or themes to guide our directions at the start of a new year.

Since two years ago, I have also personally found it more helpful to be setting intentions rather than be engaged in traditional resolution setting. In fact, I have found that the use of power words and phrases – to encapsulate the essence or the meaning of the intent – very effective.

Learn How To Go To The Next Level Of Manifesting

Whether you are new to The Law of Attraction or have been at it for years without much success there is a reason why.  There is a new consciousness that is being birthed on the planet and the old ways of doing things will not work anymore, especially working long and hard.

Some of the reasons why traditional goal setting, vision boards, affirmations, and other Law of Attraction applications are not working is simply because it is not coming from spirit and source energy.   You are connected with the Universe, Creator, God, or whatever you prefer to say that has much more power than trying to manifest something from the 3rd dimension.  Additionally, your soul is the gateway to this connection and it always knows what is for your highest good.

A Catalog of Some Common Excuses – Part III

8. No One Will Help Me
This excuse really saddens me because there’s no truth in it whatsoever. The fact is that the world is filled with people who would jump at the chance to help you with whatever you’d like to create. But if you hold on to a false notion that no one will be there to help you, your experiences will match that belief.

If you’ve spent way too much of your life overweight, seriously addicted, lost in poverty, or what have you, then you need to realize that the ball is in your court – no more excuses! Once that belief begins changing, you’ll see help arriving, but the initial movement is completely in your thoughts.

Life Before Kids and After Kids

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Standing at a kids birthday party one Saturday, I overheard a mother use the words before kids . . . to start a sentence. “Before kids,” she went on to say, “it seemed like we had a lot of money!” The other parents chimed in, nodding their heads. “Before kids” . . . another mother said, “I used to run triathlons.”

Rediscover Who You Are
Before kids . . . we traveled the world. And not just travel, but adventure travel! Our trips often led us to exciting and unpredictable destinations, and experiences that changes our lives. We worked in orphanages in Romania, holding tiny babies that had been abandoned by their mothers. We made friends with gypsies on the street, flew back one year to be at the bedside of a dying friend we’d met there who my husband grew to love like a father.
