3. Higher Consciousness
This is also known as the super-conscious mind – your higher self. It is the least understood and least accessed aspect of Consciousness because it does not belong to the physical or mental realm. Its domain is the spiritual realm. It is the You that is All-Knowing and All-Powerful and is the same in kind as the One Universal Mind.

It is the You that is beyond not only the physical world but also the emotions of your mental world. Your higher self does not distinguish between good or bad, wrong or right, happy or sad – not because it is unable to but because it has no need to. It is the You that only knows balance. It is the You that is only Love. It is the eternal observer. It is absolute stillness.

The Key to Understanding Consciousness – Part 1 of 2

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

Understanding what is meant by consciousness will go a long way in enabling you to consciously create the reality of your choice. It is the very foundation of the most powerful resource you have at your disposal – your mind. It is the most familiar and yet most mysterious aspect of your life.

Without it you could not experience life, with it you are eternal. There are essentially three aspects to consciousness, specifically the subconscious mind, the conscious mind and higher consciousness. Each plays a pivotal role in creating your circumstances so understanding how the three are inter-related is fundamental to truly harnessing the power of your mind.

Stay On Top With These 6 Mental Faculties

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

No one will argue the fact that having full mental faculties is one hallmark of a successful person. Working on heightening and improving mental faculties greatly improves the chances of success in life, career, or any other endeavor one may pursue. When working on improving the mental faculties, the first obstacle is in defining what, exactly, these mental faculties are and how they work.

As with any complex structure (the mind being about as complex as it gets), it is best tackled by breaking it down into smaller components. Human mental faculty can be categorized into six major components: imagination, intuition, perception, memory, will, and reason. Defining and exploring these six components will lead to understanding how they improve our chances of achieving success.

Are You Aware of Subliminal Messages Controlling You?

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

The word subliminal means below the perception of the conscious mind. Subliminal messages can be presented as visual, audio, or in the form of electromagnetic waves. The ultimate goal of any subliminal message is to manipulate a person by altering their perceptions to produce a change in thinking patterns resulting in modified behavior.

Some people may choose to modify their own behavior with self-help tapes which use subliminal messages to change negative behaviors or thinking patterns. On the other hand, subliminal messages can be used by others to alter a person’s behavior through a type of mind control. This may seem harmless enough, however, in the wrong hands these techniques can be used to control more than just purchasing choices.

Types of Subliminal Messages

One type of visual subliminal message consists of images with a logo, word, symbol or action depicted within it that eludes conscious perception. Another type of visual subliminal message contains stimuli repeatedly flashed across a screen at fractions of a second which is too fast for the brain to consciously perceive.
