What are the things that come to mind when you hear winning teams? I’m sure that the terms that come to mind are camaraderie, support, motivation to improve each other and a team that consistently achieves results. Improvement is another term that comes to mind, especially when the individuals in the team encourage each other to excel in different aspects of life. Teams can apply to many aspects, but the two aspects that I want to discuss today include healthy lifestyles and creating wealth.
Let’s face it, health has something that has been pushed into the back of our minds. I mean it is easier for many of us to roll up towards a McDonald’s drive thru rather than order a healthy salad. Though many greasy and sweet foods taste great, they are also the epitome as to why many of us aren’t receiving the daily nutritional values we need; and why we have a worldwide epidemic on our hands.
According to the World Health Organization, worldwide more than 1.4 billion adults 20 and older are overweight. Furthermore, 64% of Americans over the age of 20 are overweight according to the United States Center for Disease Control.
Those are alarming statistics, and many of us have lost the motivation to go the gym. Usually the number one New Year’s resolution is to lose weight, but we fail half – way through the year because of a lack of motivation.
Sometimes, it does require that motivational push from others that care to achieve those amazing results. Think about it. When we have others hold us accountable for our actions do we find the motivation to reach our goals. As we reach those goals, we need the right amount of nutritional benefits to achieve those goals.
Teamwork can come both in human form and supplemental form. Hence, this leads me to team work creating wealth.
While one of the challenges that we face in this fast-paced society is a healthy lifestyle, another challenge that we face in this society is ludicrous inflation rate that has happened in the last five years. According to the Web site www.cbsnews.com, on their article “Inflation: Not as low as you think” the American Institute for Economic Research has reported that everyday prices are up some 8 percent over the past year. Alarmingly, unemployment is still relatively high in many parts of the United States.
According to the Web site www.tradingeconomics.com, unemployment rose in October 2013 to 7.30 percent from 7.20 percent in September 2013. Furthermore, Time magazine reported in 2011 that 85% of new college grads move back in with mom and dad.
These statics prove that we are in a change of society where simply doing the simple formula of getting a good education and a high paying job isn’t going to cut it anymore. I remember graduating from college being taught that it is not what you know, it is who you know.
Since we are in a changing trend in society, the “who” I am referring towards is a team that will support you in these economic times. The team that I am referring towards is a team will educate you in a way to help create another source of lasting income, and help prepare you for the times that lie ahead. That’s where my team will help you.
It will look like this: Teamwork: the key to creating wealth and creating health
