As I ponder the interesting concepts above, and comments, I am thankful for the high level of discourse.

By personal experience I am God's dwelling place. Doubt therefore, left me when I was 17 yrs. old in Berkeley after hearing and teacing Divine Principle.

On a rational level, humans need only look at themselves and the things which they make. Is not everything in your house made with a purpose and plan, no matter how cursory? If the seemingly most conscious being on our planet makes all things with a purpose and a plan then why would the universe which we came from be nonpurposeful and random? Even animals do things with a purpose and a plan. Therefore why would the universe not have a purpose-giver and a plan maker?

The existence of principles in science, thoughts with governing power, also indicates both an origin of material in thought and a parallel universe composed of thoughts.

The speculative talk today is that you can prove such a parallel universe through mathematics or string theory---which I don't understand to well. Nevertheless the fact that thought has existence and ultimate power can be readily perceived in the fact that laws and principles do hold sway over the universe.

Mysteries like dark matter, the speed of gravity, the speed of neturinos and etc. show us greater forces then we comprehend presently.

I thnk that God is a bigger player than any one religion or person. I believe that God has desires, dreams, emotions, ideas and plans on a bigger scale than ours and yet comprehensible to us to some degree. We spend our lifetime trying to comprehend God's Love, Design, Will and etc.

If the human mind is a production of neurons--a simulated executive intelligence for helping it to survive, could some non-anthropomorphic intelligence be generated by the universe, to harmonize the ever increasing complexity within it? Could God like the Self be an illusion created to maintain the very thing that sustains it? We may be in its image in some respects but we are both mirages and servants of the material that gave us a sense of identity as a natural development.

it could also be argued that we are constructed exactly how we are in ACCORDANCE with how the universe is constructed, as opposed to having it fit our design.

This type of thing is what most religions, practices, ceremonies and daily rituals are all about. The same reason that 7 is a lucky number, the same reason there are 7 days in a week, etc.
